9 weeks 47lbs +2%bf

So it's been 8&1/2 weeks since I started back up in the gym. I'm 6'2 and started with 183lbs at 14.3%bf. On 12FEB2016 I'm currently 230lbs at 16.5% bf on 13APR2016. I'm up about 5lbs every week. I've bodybuilded and done competitive lifts since I was very young, but took a good amount of time off and thought it was time to come back. Started off with much more body fat than have ever bodybuilded with before. Looking to get up to 240 or maybe even 245 in the next 4 or 5 weeks before I start to cut. Are my expectations too high?

Guys I don't know what to do. I'm still gaining lean mass, but my goal was only to get to 245lbs. If I can keep gaining muscle, should I keep bulking, or should I put my focus on cutting???
 
You're 9 weeks in? How long of a total cycle? I think if you're still gaining, gain away. Focus on a cut later. Add that mass.
 
I don't know how many weeks I'm gonna stay on, but I was planning on staying on through my cutting cycle. I started with test and tren and gained about 40lbs in 6-7 weeks. Just added NPP and it's kicking in now and I'm consistently gaining at the scale. I think your right, I should wait for a peak, before I start cutting. Was just wondering if I should put that extra energy I have into cutting.
 
Seems like I'm peaking, although my calorie intake wasn't optimal this weekend, I didn't gain anything the past few days. Is 100mg of NPP EOD a good enough dose to gain weight? I'm reading 400+ is where I might want to be.
 
Yeah I'm using arimedex and was using WAYY to much of it! Like 11mg by accident because I didn't pay attention close enough to the concentration. Still tipping the scale tho, up to 232 and lost some bf somehow. What do you think about my NPP dosage? You think I should be doing at least 400mg a week? I'm on 100EOD so that's about 350...
Would love to get up to 240 maybe 245 if I can before cutting in a couple weeks.
muscle memory and a lot of water retention. are you using an AI?

Dude, great work. I'd slow down and start cutting and refining the mass so that your body doesn't reject it all as soon as you hop off.. Going to need a slow taper to keep all these gains.
 
Great work. Very impressive. I wouldn't push your body fat much past 16-18%. As your body fat increases, your muscle insulin sensitivity decreases and the amount of testosterone your body natural aromatizes into estrogen increases.

Once you hit around 16-18% body fat, I would focus on cutting down to 10-12% and then start bulking again.

Fantastic progress. You understand that there is no secret. This is bodybuilding. Time to pull out the big boy dinner plates.

I got a big problem. I cut way too fast. Lost a significant amount of muscle while still on cycle. 15lbs in one week(240to225) and the body fat reader said I went from 17% to 15%. The only thing I can think of that I am taking or would be catabolic is T3 which I'm stopping. How else could I have lost that much muscle? I only got up to 50mcg of T3...

You didnt lose a significant amount of muscle in 1 week, infact you probably lost none... t3 is probably just making you flat and you lost a bunch of water
 
Lol you think you lost that much muscle in a week? And you're telling me I'm the one who's uneducated and needs to research. This makes me laugh. Good luck to you seriously 😂
 
Joel, give a guy a break. I didn't know You whatsoever from threads then. All I seen was that you were 17, on trt. I never called you uneducated either. Thought we got past all this as well. If we didn't, let's start over, because now I have nothing but respect for you.

Help a brother out if you can, because I'm freaking out. Why else would the bf reader tell me I'm losing muscle. I take it with same variables, before workout.

Easily explained, IM water and glycogen loss not actually tissue loss.

Plus i wouldn't be too caught up on those things man, they are hit and miss. Post photos

Accepted bro. Body fat reader do you mean the ones that you hold in your hands or a proper Dex scan? Anything but a Dex scan isn't near to accurate. Though if it's just something in the mirror that makes u think ur dropping muscle it's more than likely your mind playing up on you. Probably a little flat but that's just apart of the process of a cut, glycogen depletion etc. your dose of t3 is relatively low and you haven't been on it that long for it to have such an adverse effect. Keep sticking to your diet, go get a Dex scan a sport massage therapy centre in your area to find what really is going, but if you don't and really feel like something isn't right I'd take t3 out. But stick your diet no matter what!!

Here's an update. Was pretty proud of this until I stepped on the scale and my weight is going down. First run on peptides but I can't imagine I'm losing fat with how many calories I'm taking in. Real crappy feeling.
