6000 Units HRT Long Term?!?!

I've read through all of the sites and can't find any situation similar to mine. My Endo wants me on 2000x3 HCG per week for at least 3 months for hypogonadism. Everything I read says this can lead to desensitation and even Gyno. My Test levels came back 177 and 6.

My situation is unique because I am only 28 years old. He doesn't want me on Test because I still want to have children and there is a higher chance of fertility problems. 12 Years ago I was diagnosed with Graves disease and they removed my thyroid, now I have to take 250mcg of Synthroid daily too.

All of my other levels were perfect. He said it bothered him that my Pituitary Function was "Normal" also. He said that with my test levels under 200 there is no reason my Pituitary should read normal, it should be elevated.

I guess I am wondering if 6000 units a week long term will hurt me, or if I should another opinion and see if someone thinks that Test and HCG combo would be better for long term.

hcg does increase estrogen but not crazy like an aromatizing hormone would.

since hcg mimics LH it will suppress your LH and your FSH as well when you are on it so that is correct.

you need to talk to your doctor about this and if he doesn't listen or ignores your questions then find a new one

I figured he is the Endo and should know what he is doing...my only issue is that most people on HRT are using TRT and supplementing in HCG, not hcg by itself.

I don't want to affect fertility because I don't have any children yet, but I haven't heard of anyone on any of the fitness sites saying they have ever taken a high dose of hcg for a long period of time...or HCG by itself for high doses.

He says he wants to use hcg for the next few months at this high dose and then see what happens, but he is anti-test right now for me because I want to have children. Have many people has success using just HCG?
