ok...this weekend..I had planned to set up a cheat day....didnt happen as I ate a sweet potato with dinner on Friday and felt guilty.....I had a cheeseburger Sat and SUn for lunch.......

Hit chest and delts yesterday.

Weight = 204

It just occurred to me how aside from the crackers, your diet is basically nuts, tuna, diet coke. Very similar to the Fat Fast diet in a way. But mostly it seems you could almost literally do all your shopping at the local Food & Fuel w/ this stuff. LOL!

We have this guy that comes into the gym in these shorts that should be outlawed. Way to tight and you can't help but stare at him the first time because you are in shock someone would have the balls to where those. Yes he has balls you can see those too.

I like this quote "Unfortunately, urban myths about aspartame continue to be circulated over the Internet." I like diet coke with lime but I notice it makes my skin break out when I drink it to much... So I just stick with the water.. Whatever works for you.

If i start drinking a lot of diet coke & then stop for a few days, I start tasting the aspartame as an aftertaste for a few days.


Ick. Its like beign a drunk --- to avoid the hang over u either quit drinking all together or just keep drinking & never get to the hangover.
 
I use splenda in my coffee, but that doesn't have the aspartame chemical thing going on. It's just they break one of the chemical bonds so your body can't use it. I have noticed though in the past when using like Sweet-N-low in my coffee my face starts breaking out. So I'm sure it's the aspartame.

..there are some colas on the market that are aspartame and caffeine free....

Well it's like chocolate... If I'm going to eat it and gain the calories then I'm going to go for what I like. Same thing with pop... If I'm going to drink it I would rather drink a kind I will enjoy.

Treilin, I break out form it too. Drink light pop (diet Sprite etc), than you should be fine.

Yeah I thought it was the dyes in the pop also... Nope... I have tried Diet Sprite also... I'll just stick to water... I love Diet Dr. Pepper too... Ughh all this pop talk

its about 2200 - same as always...the shakes were more than ou would think
 
...went to gym last night to tan and start do my first cardio session of this program...

10 minutes after the bed "dinged" - I was awoken by a knock on the booth door...so I decided to go home and eat....






as a side note - I have a white racing stripe up each side as I feel alseep b-4 I could even rotate my body in the bed

Well, my gym does NOT do bf testing & neither did my old gym..... there is basically no where around here who does bf testing. I even called the UofD's exercise dept. to see if they did hydrostatic testing & they never called me back -- left several messages.

How hard are the ones you buy in the store to use on yourself?? I'd be afraid I'd do it wrong. And the Tanita scale is worthless.....

I use the digital calipers and I think I am doing it right. You just have to practice so you know you are consistent with your pressure and areas. I am going to see if I can get a trainer at the gym to do it this week for me... and we'll see how close I am. The scale I just laugh at. It told me 25.5 % this morning. My calipers read 18.1% yesterday. You be the judge...
 
yep...get the digitalones...they are easy to use...


to getthe hang...take each site 3 times...throw out the hi and low and there ya go

Really all you need are the calipers and it really helps (REALLY HELPS) if you have someone who will help you get the skinfold pinch - esp on the tricep. Once you get the numbers you can drop them into the online calculators. I opted to bring my calipers to my gym and have a trainer get the skinfolds. Do it BEFORE you train. Its hard to get a clean pinch when you are sweaty. There are websites that show you where specifically to do the pinches.
