What’s up fellow SWOLJAS’, name’s Earl. I’m 40, husband, father, and balancing bodybuilding with running a trucking company while getting ready to move my family to Belize. My life stays busy, but training is the one thing I refuse to slack on.


I’ve trained out of truck stops, hotel rooms, Planet Fitness, parking lots — whatever it takes. I log every session, every meal, every shot, every step. My daily posts are raw, real, and straight to the point. No sugarcoating.


My goal is to get locked in for my first show after the move. Consistency, discipline, and accountability — that’s the whole mission for this log. I’m here to give value, learn from guys who’ve been in the trenches, and keep leveling up.

📝 Notes
That full-body circuit was a damn shock to the system — bent rows, dips, squats, everything to failure. Felt strong, felt alive, and honestly needed that one. Filmed a few clips but once fatigue hit, I wasn’t moving the camera around anymore.


Still waiting on the insurance to close out the wreck. Truck situation is what it is — already mentally pivoting. Going to start renting out the trailers to take stress off while I line things up for Belize. We’ve got a house being built, a client looking at land, and real opportunity waiting there.


It knocked the wind out of me for a bit but it didn’t break me. Head is clearing, focus is returning, and the next chapter is already taking shape.

Today was a solid day. Full body again and I’m finally getting that rhythm back. Halfway through the workout I regretted every life choice that led me to front squats, but it is what it is, soul left my body somewhere between the cable curls and RDLs. But it felt good. Strength is creeping back up and weight is moving in the right direction again.


Still waiting on insurance about the truck. At this point mentally I’ve accepted we’re pivoting. Trailers are registered, business is switching fully to Texas, and the plan is to buy trailers and rent them out on six-month terms. Low overhead, low stress, and it buys me time to get settled in Belize and get the house finished. Big reminder again how much useless crap we stack up in the States, I’m down to two big totes: one for clothes, one for supplements and oatmeal so I’m stocked while shipments catch up once we land.


Feeling good today overall. Got meals in, appetite is back, and I’m just trying to stay focused on the move.

Glycerol is amazing for post-workout hydration, but you have to be careful — too much can act as a laxative because it pulls water into the intestines :):)
So it can get pretty… explosive, haha.

Good for constipation when on a low-calorie diet while trying to gain mass

Chest day was solid today. Lower-chest focus again and it hit exactly how it needed to. Flight left first thing this morning, touched down around noon, grabbed the rental, and then made the 5-hour drive from Denver to Casper. Went straight to the gym and knocked it out. Feels good to keep the routine locked in even with all the travel.


Still feels crazy closing out the last pieces of this truck chapter, but mentally I’m getting clearer every day. Being around family this week will help too. Scale should come back up now that appetite is normal again and meals are consistent. One step at a time, just locking back in.

Well, that’s it. Got to the office around 8, had the whole truck cleaned out by 10:45, and was back on the road by 11. Progressive called while I was driving — truck is officially totaled. No more truck driving for me. Hanging the CDL up. That chapter is done. I’ve been fighting this thing for two years straight and I just can’t force it anymore. Sometimes you just gotta stop swinging and let God take the wheel. I’m choosing to be faithful, be grateful, and trust that what’s coming is already mine. Everything I thought I lost is gonna come back multiplied. How and when? I don’t know. But I know it will. Headed back to the house now, got about nine hours left to drive. New chapter starts now. Crunch for time if i get back in time i save a day on rental, didn’t get a chance to lift today! We back at it tom!

Day after Thanksgiving always hits different. We got in a shoulder and bicep workout this morning, nothing crazy but enough to get the blood moving and shake off that food hangover. Gonna hang with the family the rest of the day, take the kids to Urban Air, soak it in before things get busy again. I check in tomorrow and I’ll be posting some photos so stay locked in. We’re out of here December 6th for Belize. The vehicle is loaded up, packed, and my cousin is already on the road driving it down. It’s getting real now.


Meals were basically a refeed. Breakfast was two strawberry waffles with bacon and sausage and honestly that shit hit the spot. I’m making an adjustment to the diet now, time to start pushing the weight back up and get out of this little hole I’ve been in.

Spent the rest of the day packing. House is almost done and tomorrow should wrap everything up before we drop the vehicle off Monday. Less than a week left and it still doesn’t feel real. I’ve been looking toward this move for two years. Grinding with the trucks, stressed out, fighting from behind nonstop. It took a lot out of me but it pushed everything forward to this moment.


Belize is going to be different. The path is already laid out. Subdivisions lined up, development already started, roads cut, and we’ll be selling lots soon. This time it feels like I’m finally stepping into something that builds instead of something that breaks me.


Got confirmation I’ll have 24 hr gym access out there so I can get my sessions in without people around. Chaos life is done. Time to slow down, breathe, and enjoy my family. We’re starting homeschooling for the kids, a garden, and living a homestead pace. That’s the life I’ve been trying to create.


I’ll be documenting all of it while prepping for the first show, possibly hitting a Hyrox in March, and maybe a show in Dallas or Houston after. New chapter loading and this one is going to hit different.

Took the rest of the day to chill. Met up with my business partner and his family and hit this all-you-can-eat sushi spot that was unreal. I put down four rolls, two plates of hibachi steak, and then they hit us with fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, and a tempura roll stuffed with vanilla icing and ice cream. Absolute madness but it hit the spot.


Just kicking it with the family the rest of the day. Back to the grind Monday.


We’re five days and a wake-up from wheels up to Belize. I’m beyond ready to get my happiness back. Truth is, my heart never really left that country two years ago. I’ve been fighting to get back ever since, and now I finally get to put all that inner chaos to rest.

Life’s finally settling down and I’m ready to lock in a real push again. Sitting around 210 right now and aiming to climb into that 225 range, hold it, tighten up, and see how the body responds before deciding on a mini-cut or another run-up. With the stress calming down and life getting more predictable, recovery should pick up and the scale should start moving the right way.


I’m shifting my mindset too, less chasing, more grateful, more present with my family. Spent years grinding nonstop over business, bills, and trying to be more than I was. Now it’s time to breathe, be thankful for what I built, and actually live it.

Appreciate that brother. I’ve been loving those movements lately, especially the overhand rows. They light my whole upper back on fire in a good way. Seated cables are a staple for me too. Just trying to keep the sessions solid while life’s chaotic right now.

maybe down the line we will have to get you on the podcast to talk about that. a lot of people work from home these days so we wonder why are we paying a fortune to live in the States and deal with lunacy when we can move to belize for a fraction of the price and live a better lifestyle

Bros. That's cool that you heal up good. I hate working with the teeth. When I had my plumbing accident I had a lot of tooth work done.
 
Appreciate that brother. I’ve been loving those movements lately, especially the overhand rows. They light my whole upper back on fire in a good way. Seated cables are a staple for me too. Just trying to keep the sessions solid while life’s chaotic right now.

Here’s this week’s check-in. Sitting at 208 and meals are finally going down smooth again. Appetite is kicking back in and I’m settling into a rhythm. We updated the meal plan and tightened it up for the schedule I’ll be running in Belize, so everything should line up pretty clean once we land.


Feeling good about the direction. Weight’s climbing the right way and the goal stays the same, keep pushing toward 225 and see how the body handles it from there.

What’s up fellow SWOLJAS’, name’s Earl. I’m 40, husband, father, and balancing bodybuilding with running a trucking company while getting ready to move my family to Belize. My life stays busy, but training is the one thing I refuse to slack on.


I’ve trained out of truck stops, hotel rooms, Planet Fitness, parking lots — whatever it takes. I log every session, every meal, every shot, every step. My daily posts are raw, real, and straight to the point. No sugarcoating.

Absolutely man, I’d be down for that. There’s a lot people don’t realize about Belize until they actually live it. We’re talking lower cost of living, safer pace, and the ability to actually build a life that’s yours instead of just surviving the grind in the States.


We’re setting up to be fully self-sustainable out there, from homeschooling the kids, homesteading, growing our own food, training every day, and pushing to put bodybuilding on the map in Belize. And the wild part is we’ll be surrounded by resorts people spend thousands to visit, but as residents we get local rates and can take those same trips for a couple hundred bucks. Completely different lifestyle.


I also just started a YouTube channel so I can document the entire process! The move, the setup, the training, the homestead, all of it. Gonna show the real day-to-day of building a new life out there.

We finally made it to Belize. Travel was smooth as hell! Landed, had a driver waiting, got to the house and the spare vehicle was already sitting in the driveway. Spent the last few days getting everything set up… beds together, furniture in place, unpacking all the small shit that always takes the longest. But the house is basically dialed in now.


Gonna hit the gym today for the first time since getting here. Starting with the one in town! It’s my boy’s spot, smaller gym but solid. We’re already talking about possibly revamping it because truthfully Belize has a big health problem. A lot of heart attacks, strokes, obesity, habits here are rough. If we can make even a small dent in that, that’s a win. Thinking Boot Camps, maybe female-only classes, and even a Lift-A-Thon event to bring some attention and get people hyped. Big speakers, music loud, food, people stopping by! Something that wakes the place up and gets folks excited about training.


Still waiting on my truck to arrive with the rest of my stuff! All my proteins, dextrose, glycerin, etc, not stressing it though! Down here fruit and fresh juices are everywhere and honestly a better carb source anyway. Dextrose gives me heartburn, so this is probably a blessing.


Breakfast this morning was five whole eggs, three slices of toast, and a banana. We’re heading to the gym in about 25 minutes for a chest session. I’ve got pictures and videos from the last few days that I’m gonna sort through and post up.


Daily posts are back, routine is back, and now it’s time to grow. Diet got adjusted for Belize — more homemade food, Nanny cooking, tortillas replacing potatoes, cassava in the rotation, and of course rice and beans because that’s a staple here.


Good to be back home. Let’s get to work.
