You watching the BENCH PRESS contest on WWE now?

no one in the WWE is benching in the 600's, 500's would even be RARE in my opinion. When they announce to the "public" that they bench 645 they may as well say 1,000 - just a big number to the average Joe and they will never have to prove it. Chabot would be the exception if and when he debuts. I cant seem to reach him...

Exactly. And, on a side note, for the wrestlers' actual weight, you can subtract at least 25 lbs form whatever they are introduced as. The Rock is 275?? He's a big boy, but come now people.

WEEEELLLLLL It's the BIG SHOOOOWWW!!! 7' 500lbs (yeah) -- he can bench his bodyweight... for sheezy. :) LOL

I bet Chris Jericho can bench 500lbs... He's a HUUUUGE ROCK STAR.... AND he's the KING OF THE WORLD!!! :)

I'd imagine that there are actually a few 500+ lb benchers in the WWE.

Probably can:
Big Show (with ease)
Scott Steiner
HHH
Brock Lesnar
Bradshaw
etc.

When I was in high school, a kid I know benched 405 as a senior and I know for a fact he was natty. Probably weighed 210 or so. 500 is definitely not out of the realm of possibility for reps, and I'm sure some that cant rep it could probably throw up 500 for a rep.

And to the guy who said 450x7=550. Well the way some D1 FB programs are figuring it, 450x10=600. Now once you've passed a certain rep range, endurance, etc. starts to become a factor. If BPP/Scott Steiner got under there and only had to give his all for 1 rep, at his peak, I'd say 645 wasnt out of the question. Most of us just cant comprehend that kind of thing b/c we've never seen it occur and/or cant do it ourselves.

I would imagine that wrestlers don't do too badly when it comes to endurance relative to powerlifters. Look at what they do......ok they aren't marathon runners but we are talking about 7 reps. I think the calculator would be close......and certainly not out by 100lb.

Do you know how many people on this planet can bench 600+ without a shirt? I wonder how many of those few woudl be able to do it whilst training like a wrestler rather than a powerlifter.
