A democratic congress would never repeal the anabolic androgenic steroids laws it passed. And if he won do you think he would be really be allowed to dismantle the huge organizations that exist only to swallow your tax dollars, with congress and his own party going against him all the time?

I agree but if he is a godd leader he can get alot of this done with the right spin team behind him. You can get a liberal congress to do alot if you make them look bad or make them think they will not get reelected unless they vote this way.

I wish people actually watched the debates to see him. if he makes it into the mainstream election debates like to the final 4 so to speak he will get shredded. Unless he has good rebutals and does not go on the defensive and show he can lead on foriegn policy he may have a chance. lol

He's not really the diametric opposite so much as a tangent. Some people look at Ron Paul and think that nobody in congress will work with him. I think that he has the philosophical basis that allows him to work with both parties. He is for personal liberties, much like the democrats claim. He is for shrinking government, much like republicans claim. The most difficult elements for him to work with would be Reaganite neo-conservatives and socialist leaning democrats.

Thge democrats are for personal freedoms only if you are not christian. They are for gay love and marriage and shit like that but when a christian/catholic speaks out they are tagged as narrow minded and wrong when all they wanted to do was speak thier beliefs as much as some may not agree with what they believe it still is a fact that christians are censored and or are made out to be crazy for thier beliefs.

there is no better alternative to him, if I were a US citizen I would be overjoyed that there's the chance to vote for him... but personal liberties aren't really on the Dem's agenda (Dems would take as many away from you as the social conservatives on the other side) and a shrinking government would make it harder for the social conservatives to poke into every aspect of your personal life.

Funny how he sweeps every online poll, but the media still totally ignores him and focuses on the candiates picked by Murdoch & co... the general public isn't going to educate themselves on the issues beyond what CNN or Fox show them.

even them pools like these are not as accurate as people make them out to be. Sure you can call 100,000 random people and ask who they are going to vote for. But lets say you call 75000 dems unknowingly. How is this poll fair?

Isn't it funny how Paul supporters take the online polls and vote multiple times to skew the numbers, when he isn't even a third-tier blip in scientific polling. Whilst he has some good ideas, he isn't electable. Even with his foaming at the mouth fan base.
