You want your drugs back? Vote Ron Paul!

Ron Paul appeals to republicans who are either too ignorant or too brainwashed to understand the Democratic party.

Democrats sure have their lot of useless wankers, but look where the republicans have taken us.

Being that he's a libertarian, I'm surprised he's not running on the democratic side. He might elevate the discourse a little. All of the republican candidates are far too retarded to probably understand what he's talking about.

Ron Paul is batshit crazy, tho. Don't forget that.

ever see that southpark when stan has to vote between a giant douche or a turd sandwich? every election is pretty much between a douche and a turd

That's the problem. The parties are more polarized than ever. And more extreme. The Rebubulicans are becoming the party of Christian zealots and the Democrats have become the party of idealistic issue dodgers. I hate them all. Feckless assholes the whole bunch of them. We really have no choice. It's corporation A or corporation B. Once fucks you in the ass and the other fucks you in the ass dry. Take your pick.
Well put!

not that I disagree with the premise of your post.........but by those standards there's no point in voting for anyone. Even though Paul would have a difficult time getting some of those things done that he says'.........at least having a president like him would get the ball rolling. Than maybe candidates around the country who think like him could gain traction in local or state elections............that's how things start. I would find it difficult to vote for someone who's going to keep the status quo.........no point in even voting imo.
absolutely !! We have to start somewhere. Even if he doesn't get elected, if support grows for him than maybe some other politicians will start to support individual rights more.

What kind of stupid horse shit is that? Libertarians choose liberty because we don't believe in the wishy-washy ass-wiping snot of either major party. And for your unsophisticated lack of knowledge, there are two types of libertarians - Large L and small l. Ron Paul appeals to small l libertarians and small r republicans because he is willing to stand up for principle against his own party. The majority of Republicans don't like Ron Paul because he doesn't buy into their ideological bullying. A true lover of liberty does not need a party and we certainly wouldn't join with the socialist smack propagated by the haranguing leadership of the party that has a jack ass for a mascot.

Nah, most Republicans don't like him because they know he is unelectable even if he gets past the primary. Next, anyone supported by Alex Jones, has no business ever running this country.

If he gets past the primary Ron Paul is the ONLY canidate the republicans even have a shot at winning with. He's pro-life, anti-war, and sympathizes with small interest groups. That steals a lot of votes from the demo side of the spectrum.

That's his problem. He has absolutely no chance of getting out of the primaries. He should go back to running as a libertarian.

I agree. He has no chance at winning the primaries because he's TOO republican. He is a republican in the way that pre-Nixon republicans were republican. That's why the GOP will never let him get past the primaries. The party of small government is only the party of small government in name only. All those "true blue" Republicans who like to point fingers and shout RINO are the RINOs. Paul the real deal.
