WTF is the point of this game?!

Yeah, there is a storyline within it. The missions push the storyline further. It's a little slow at first, but the pace picks up.

But if the culture reflected in the game isn't your taste, I would trade it in and go for something else.

I can recommend something if you tell me what you dig.

Don't matter anymore. This thread is old and that game has been returned back at to the store a long time ago. I simply went in and told them that I refuse to play this black ghetto piece of shit game! I want my money back and they gave it back to me. Nuff said. I now play World of Warcraft.

WoW is pretty solid. I was a Star Wars Galaxies Junky for about 6 months while I was in college.

I'll probably beat Dragon Quest 8 this afternoon. I dunno what I'm going to play next. Was thinking about Indigo Prophecy.

I'm a huge star wars fan. But I keep reading and hearing BAD reviews for Galaxies. That is why I never played it. But believe me! WoW is good!!! Reviews are great too!

Galaxies was awesome way back when I played. It's completely different now. Not really for the better, either.

I've been dying to try Guild Wars. As soon as I get myself a little more situated financially, I'm probably going to give it a try.

I played SWG almost from launch----bought it, not knowing that it was an MMORPG. Shit, I didn't even know what an MMO game was. Well, I got hooked for almost 2 years. That game had SOOOOOOO much potential, but Sony just fucked it up royally. I quit shortly after the JTL launch.

After that, I dabbled in Everquest II for a while. Problem with MMO games is that they are such a timesuck. You have to invest hours upon hours everday to basically get anywhere, and you can't just drop what you are doing and leave the computer, especially if it's PvP.

Needless to say, I've given up on all MMOs. I have no doubt that WoW is stellar, but I just can't afford to get sucked in again.

Going back to GTA---I actually just removed it from my computer. Was about 3/4 done, but lost interest in finishing the game.

Best PC game I've played lately? F.E.A.R.-----fuckin' awesome FPS.

then you should try playing FEAR on my PC. I got 1gig of video RAM. Yes! 1 gig. I have 2 512mb video cards setup in SLI. FPS is ultra high with full video settings on!

Jesus-fuckin'-Christ, TWO 512 mb cards? That's outa control! I'm running 1.5GB of RAM, but on an older ATI 9700pro 128mb card. I was actually surprised at how smooth FEAR ran, considering the age of the card. I'll be building a new PC next month, and was going to run two 256mb nVidia cards, probably 6800GTs, with 2 GB of RAM.

....shit, I just can't get over having two damn 512mb cards, LOL! That's insane!

Yeah bro its crazy! I got a AMD FX-57 chip with 2gigs of RAM and 2 Nvidia 7800 GTX 512mb cards with a SATA ( 10,000 RPM ) Hard Drive. All my games look fucking different! Amazingly beautiful and all run at super high FPS! Fuck Xbox! I returned my Xbox360 and trashed my old Xbox. I'm sticking to this PC.

gtx's are 512? o didnt know that, I personally would go for 1 7800gtx over 2 6800gts, easier to upgrade later (just add another 7800gtx) 2 gigs of ram would be plenty.
