they are bottom feeders but they will also come up towards the surface to eat.

I thought that there were sturgeon that were way bigger than that. Ive seen pics of some of the ones caught in the early 20th century that were two or three times that it seemed. Plus I thought Nile Perch got bigger than that too, I doubt that could be a world record, its big though
