workout splits

Just wondering how you guys split things up for your workouts?? It made me curious because yesterday at the gym, I was talking to the owner.. Bill Kazmier, and he said that he was trying to workout chest, tri, bis and delts all at the same time that way his shoulders only get hit one time during the week. Sounded like a good idea, and wanted to see how you guys split things up.

assumtion

I assume that you guys rest in-between each day....

yes and no. i do cardio 4-5 days per week. but as far as lifting goes, yes. i always take a rest day in between workouts.

Day 1- Chest
Day 2- Legs
Day 3- off
Day 4- back
Day 5- shoulders
Day 6- off

I like to lift heavy, so I don't split my daily up. There's no way I would be able to do max weights on military presses after I kill myself doing heavy chest or tri stuff. I'm not isolating arms for a while either. I've been doing this for a few months now and my body is reacting very well to it.

I mix it up every couple of months...here's what I'm doing now:

Chest, biceps
Shoulders, triceps
Rest
Back, legs
rest
rest

repeat

I'm going to switch it up again soon.

With you doing Chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders one day after another... isn't that overworking your shoulders?? Do you see good results splitting it up like that.

You know I actually got decent gains that way, but I heard it may be tough on the shoulders so I switched. After awhile I went back because it felt good. I'll try some new splits and see how they work. My shoulders are stronger this way than working them on the same day as chest.

I've tried various splits over the years...in one form or another...abs thrown in 2-3 days a week per energy level

chest/tris
back/bis
Legs
shoulders/traps
