workout early...what should I eat ?

Cardio: empty tank.

Heavy days: Two r-ALA on rising, about 15minutes later a banana, coffee. On the way to gym, another banana, light invert sugar carb drink while lifting, monster PW with inverts and 50+gms whey with enerG glutamine fest.

Love it, been doing the trick every time.

ouch.. pretty bad pre-workout meals there

anyway, have some oats (1 cup or more) and whey 1-1.5 to 2 hours before workout.

working out on an empty stomach, without any carbs is idiot. where will the energy come from ?
fructose is a very bad source of energy you need complex carbs.
If u don't respect at least 1 hour between you meal and your workout, you'll be digesting while working out. what does that mean ? your muscles wont have the needed blood because it will be used for digestion. result ? very bad workout. you will feel tired and unmotivated.
while working out, have nothing else but water. no sugary drinks, no energy drinks, anything like that.
complex carbs before working out dude. always. no glucose, fructose, etc. it wont give you the long lasting energy you need to lift. they are indeed bad source of energy, as stated above.

Hour before workout in the morning i have a scoop of whey, tablespoon of fish oil, and a banana

:rainbow: Hey everyone, thanks for all the advise on what I should eat before going to the gym. There are a lot of different suggestions. From what I can tell "Oats" seem to be the greater of the suggestions. With that suggestion, I have been eating about a cup full every morning this week, along with a cup of Coffie. (Got to have my caffine fix.... :coffee: ). I feel much better during my workouts. I have done the protien drinks, and anything with dairy seems to make me feel worse. Which is odd, cause all I drink is Milk and water. No Joke. I can do a protien shake after my workout and I feel great. Is that strange or what?
So Thanks to everyone for your adivise....... ;)

You use of absolutes in a totally subjective matter makes you look like you are either inexperienced, a fool, or both.
