Working out & height

Hi guys,
I have a question,
I am 16 and started working out last November, but guys at school have been telling me not to or to slow down because it could stop me from getting taller,is this true??

HELL NO!

It's the juice that might F you up before you're old enough, but any body that says lifting will is an idiot. Keep goin' hard and watch those guy's faces as you get bigger & bigger. HA!

Good luck bro.

okay i don't belive in it either but i still keep away from squats and deadlifts in case, they are the hardest on the back and spine. Im 16 BTW.

Squats and deads are good for building, but you don't have to do them they aren't magic exercises that will blow you up, like WizKid25 said take it easy with those exercises until your 18, or if you want to do them use light weight.

Good Luck :)

Do squats and deadlifts, just don't go too heavy and remember to use perfect form.

Also if you warmup and stretch properly in between lifts you'll have no worries about injuring yourself and you'll get Big ! I mean really big for a 16 year old.

my advice to you wopuld be only do them once a week and training in a gym won't stunt your growth at all, but roids, a poor diet and Lack of sleep will.

goodluck!:alien: :alien: :alien: :wavey:

im 16 and thats what i figured id do with the deadlifts and squats, next time someone tells me itl stunt my growth ill just tell them to jam it.
