That's a pretty lame excuse when people stuff themselves in the landing gear compartment on international flights. Or stow away on a container ship for 2 months. If people want to move they will find a way. Although I can't imagine the US as so bad I would risk my life to leave it. Make no mistake though, if Hillary ever becomes president, I'm outty.

Why do you think I am in Canada? I do not agree with MY government, so I am somehwhere else until I agree with MY government.

And what is the deaths to survivors ratio? How about the fact that you will likely end up living as a second class citizen in your new country?

I personally owuld not put my families lives at risk by leaving them or having them leave with me.........I'd sit it out unless things got really extreme. This is not a lame excuse, it is called having priorities.

Actually most Canadians are too ignorant to speak French (outside of Quebec).

And what is so bad about socialism? The Canadian economy is still capitalist and is growing at a phenominal rate while the US economy is crashing. Why do you suppose that is?

You won't anser me on why Canada is more free than the US, but I will answer your question. I don't like socialism because it is a direct attempt to redistribute wealth. I work for a living. I should pay taxes for things that directly benefit me or helpless individuals. I do not want my money going to able bodied people for any reason. In America some of my coin goes to lazy welfare recipients. Under socialism I would be paying for some kid to go to college. I only want to help people that can not under any circumstances help themselves. You might enjoy that, but I don't.
