Why Do 'respected" Guru's

Alright, alright, geez it ain't that serious.

Let me just say this, if there is any way for a mod to check if I have ever posted under another name on thos board, PLEASE DO SO!

I almost never post on other boards. But the whole thing with bb.com started with a private battle I have with 1fast400. This guy is WORSIPED on that board and he isn't even a bodybuilder (by his own admission) He's a salesman of dubious intergrity. (Ask some of the mods here).

Anyway, long story short -- this guy comes on like a major dick and starts denouncng my work without ever reading it. Then when he finds out I worked with Protein Factory he starts calling them, and me, scammers. That was the first I heard about the whole "testing debacle" which was so obviously a ruse on his part to discredit PF and push customers to another company which he just "happened" to go into business with.

Anyway, as you can see, he has this little herd of sheep that believe anything he says and there was nothing I could do to change that. They're a hateful little bunch of kids who despise any outsiders and since I was the guy saying that their hero was full of shit, it made me the most unpopular person on earth! So after a while, I played into it. I kept posting just to annoy the fuck out of them. I said everything that I knew would anger them more.

Meanwhile, I had people write to me saying they tried to post a rebuttle but the site would delete their posts! At that point, it was just a joke to me so I posted under an alias to see how much they'd hate THAT guy. You can see that I registered 2 minutes before posting so it wasn't like I was on he boards for weeks "agreeing" with myself! (THAT, would be lame. And don't think they aren't checking to see if that's the case.)

Now, if I really wanted to be deceptive, I could have easily gone next door and used my friends computer so it's pretty obvious I was just dicking around. But as I said, it was just another way of pissing them off.

Two minutes after I posted I thought, oh, maybe that wasn't a good idea -- for this very reason displayed in this thread. Some people might see it as a mass deception and use it against me as if I'm some kind of nut job who board hops all day long.


So, my apologies for a moment of indiscretion. I realize that's bad "board etiquette, but since I don't take BB.com seriously, I felt they didnt deserve any respect. In retropect, I guess it was dumb.

So that's the story. I'd like to think it doesn't make a rats ass of a difference but some people will think what they want to think.

I never mentioned you by name though your response appears genuine. Respect is earned by knowledge and experience and one loses it when they are caught in this type of situation. Many here look up to you for information and many more don't always agree with what you say.

You appear to be smart enough to handle conflict and stick with your thoughts and opinions though not as good admitting that at times you may be wrong. In this case I will give the credit to you as you admitted being wrong.

Nobody is ever right everytime and different people have different opinions and this does not make one right and one wrong. Facts is in this sport many have different opinions and through our own trail and error and a small amount of research we can come up with what works best for us.

Glad you came out and said what happened.

I know many of my views are controversial and I come on strong (though I think I've really toned it down) but sometimes you have to come on strong when you have a point of view that smacks in the face of accepted dogma. Of course, not everyone os going to agree with me but all I ever asked was to take waht I say and think about it. If then, it doesn't work for you, fine. But I'm pround of the fact that a lot of members here (some of whom have challanged me vehemently) have come around to say 'You know, I think you got something there' Or, hey, you're advice worked out great! That makes me feel really good. And even if you say "Hmmm interesting point of view, I'll think about it but I'm ot sure I buy it totally, THAT'S COOL TOO! It's all in the fun of the learning process. Let's face it. We ain't curing cancer here. We're looking for better ways to build muscles!

That's what got me so pissed and made me lose my cool over at bb.com Not only did they not want to hear another perspective, they were unbelievably arrogent and hateful toward it. (Anf they're clueless!) Try prying open your minds a nanoinch for chrissakes! But they acted like total dicks, because...well, quite frankly, that's what they are. So I won't be wasting my time there anymore. I have too much fun here. (And already spend more time here than I should!)

When I first read flexed1's post I thought he was referring to something that happened over here, not bb.com. Once I put two and two together I realized that the post was directed at you. I was under the impression that you were signing up under different user names here (at EF) and endorsing your own ideas/products/etc. That's what I found distasteful. If that's not the case then I apologize for my remarks on this thread. If that is the case then I stand by what I said. Two questions for you:

1) Have you signed up under different user names here at "EF"?

2) Have you used those identities to endorse/support your own ideas, PF's products and your book?

Some of your views others don't agree with I actually do. Some the cardio for instance I don't ONLY because my competition days were cardio am on no food and the results where great and I was ultra ripped. thats why I live by learn what works for you though I study everything and do listen to others but make choices and do whats best for my body.
