Why do married people stop having sex?

I'm sure there are many reasons but I'm just curious. I couldn't imagine not having sex with my boyfriend.

Because theres a finality to marriage that is not exciting as when you are just dating and dont know how long it will last, so its more unpredictable and exciting which lends itself to more sex

take care of what scenario? Sex? Last I checked it takes two to take care of that. By yourself it's called masturbation.

i'm not sure what he's referring too but, i'm gonna take a "stab" at it. . .generally speaking, in most "traditional" relationships (call me old if you want. . .but i'm still getting lots of hawt sex) the man is the pursuer (sp?) and the woman is the pursued (sp?) and that's the way it is. . .so, once you "have her", if you stop pursuing, chances are your sex life is gonna taper off. . .i still pursue her. . .i still get lots of sex. . .it's a wee bit more complicated than that, i'm sure, but i'm speaking in generalities.
