My 12 day DNP experience
I just finished my 12 day DNP cycle. I am an endurance runner so I'm used to running everything i eat off, so not being able to perform cardio hurt me, and usually exercise diminishes my appetite, so not being able to do that combined with the DNP cravings hurt me bad. Before I go on, let me say that DNP requires a lot of willpower. If you give into the cravings, you are defeating the purpose of burning extra calories.
*Dosage- I took 200 m.g. first 4 days, 400 next 4, 600 the next 4.
*Social- First of all, DNP will make you very uncomfortable. I'm at college, and this is the worst place to have taken it. I isolated myself as best as possible from everyone for 12 days. I sweat like crazy at day 4. I sat in class and started pouring, I wore triple t-shirts and kept deoderant on hand. When i wasn't in class, I kept myself near a fan, i had to or I would have died. People probably thought i was on like coke or something. If you can find a time span where you won't be near people, that is the best time to take it.
*Sleeping- This is probably the worst. You will soak through your pillow. If you wear clothes to bed, you will soak through them. You will soak through your sheets. I got very little sleep, its hard to sleep when you're hot as hell and dripping wet. This is noticeable by day 2.
*Cardio- As I said before, I am an endurance runner. I will usually do 2 hours of cardio a day, usually 1 hour on an elliptical machine, and 1 hour runnig outside. On day 4, I was still able to keep the cardio up. I thought I was beating DNP. DNP bitch slapped me after that. Don't even waste the gas money to drive to the gym, it ain't gonna happen. All you will want to do is sit around and not do anything. You will feel miserable. This became a problem for me. I usually am able to consume about 4,500 calories a day because of 2 hours of cardio. I needed time off from cardio and thought DNP would keep the weight off as I stopped, since I susceptible to weight gain. I gave in on some days and ate a whole lot, which made me even hotter. You will need will power.
* As if it wasn't bad enough, you will at times feel bloated. I pissed a whole lot less and kept water in. This isn't the best feeling. My stomach never looked worse.
*Timing of side effects- You won't feel the complete effects till day 4 or 5. It doesn't get any better from here. Don't up the dosage if you don't feel anything the first few days. Also, once you go off, it will take a few days to stop feeling the side effects. Once you're off, you will appreciate the little things like feeling normal and being able to sleep.
*Who should take it?- If you're a competitive athlete, forget it! It will not help you at all. If you need to lose fat in, say, 20 days and don't have anything to do with yourself, live alone, and can resist cravings, i'd say you're the best candidate. Rent about 100 blockbuster movies and sit inside with the a.c. on all day.
