Who's looking foward to the football this year

I think my Titans have a good shot at the playoffs and the AFC South title. Hopefully another Superbowl shot also.

My Saints have a good shot at the playoffs and NFC South title as well. As far as that we'll see? They have a lot of talent and speed now.

As far as my Panthers go . . . They're still at least a couple years away. They'll do better than 1-15 of course.

Yeah I also think the Rams will make another run for the playoffs with a record of 14-2 last session will make a good run for it this year too. Hopefully Kurt Warner will be at a 100% this time around.

I would also like to add that the Rams turned there backs on California. We will never welcome them back!

oh i thought you meant real football and was going to predict Liverpool for the premiership

Unless they perfected holographic imaging for use on a football field . . . then yes we are talking real football.

Your Titans? Your Saints? Your Panthers? Godamn, how many teams do you own? ;) ;)

I think the Titans will recover nicely and it should be a tight race with Indy (no pun). The Saints look like they're going downhill quickly. As for the Panthers? It's gonna get ugly.

All home teams.

Titans had a great off season with rebuilding, so have the Saints.

Saints will recover also. Right now they only have to worry about the Bucs in there division. That far easier than other divisions right now. Plus this is the most speed they have ever had on this team, so it will help. Everything depends on how well Duce performs and holds up.

Panthers . . . It will get ugly, but not as ugly as it was last year, unless DeRon Jenkins plays like he did last year when he was with the Titans.

Mysterio, how did I know you were a Raiders fan, ya bastard.

I bet you were one of those guys who kept saying, "The Raiders got robbed, holmes. The Pats are frauds, ese.' " HAHAHA

I have a pretty good memory when I was in Best Buy earlier this year watching MNF, Raiders vs. Titans, when Jano missed the field goal that would have sent it into OT. Everyone was pissed but I was clapping and laughing like I was nuts. None of the fans would make eye contact. I was disappointed.

MWUAHAHAHAHAHHA!! :p

The rivalry's gonna be even better this year, with Shannon Sharpe back where he belongs and Romo on "the dark side."

Mysterio, you going to any games this year? I always make it to the Broncos vs Chargers in SD. Last year was the first year I went where there actually seemed like more Charger fans (Flutie arrives and everyone's a fan). They won the game and they acted like it was the SuperBowl. Then they proceed to lose about 11 straight!! HAHA

DA EAGLES ARE LOOKING GREAT AGAIN THIS YEAR! I'm looking for big things from them. Only the Rams can match up in the NFC and we almost had them last year!

mcnabb is going to get hurt this year, and it's going to come at the hands of the redskins.

There's no argument.

yes soccer is played with the feet, yes soccer has been around longer, yes soccer is a larger played sport. I'm well aware as is everyone else on this thread. However this is a thread regarding American Football both of wich are just as you say "real" as the other.

I'm sure there are other threads on this board pertaining to World Cup Soccer that need to be addressed, but this is not one of them.

Thank you.

EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the rams and bucs will contend, but philly will win it.

my reasons? aside from being a big fan (by the way kryp20, how the fuck you have 3 favorite teams??? covering your ass all the way around?)

eagles receivers may not have been the best last year or maybe not this year, but... that was their first season with mcnabb... timing will be far better and they now know each other, like the playoffs... ask the bears and bucs what them knowing each other means... and to the rams fans, that game was over until buck got hurt... their new guy from nova' is a warrick dunn type, they are ready and able... duce is healthy... defense is tops in the league, EVEN WITHOUT JEREMIAH!!!!! this is it, the window is open NOW... its time.

i dont think i can reply to any more football threads... i went nuts last summer waiting... and waiting... and its been getting me for a month and a half now...

FYI kryp20, i'm taking over adelphia on sept the 8th... i've invited the entire eagles message board and some other pals to come along... its on!!!

thanks for bishop, if he stays healthy this secondary is unbelievable... actually, even without him its awesome!

hey nature boy.... FUCK YOU!!! eagles fans are assholes for cheering injuries? well, now we know skins fans feel they have NO CHANCE IN HELL with number 5 taking the snaps.... hahaha, nice offense you guys got there! this is the nfc east in the nfl... its not florida a & m southern - mini campus... this is real football!!

fuck off madbomber, I'm not rooting for him to get hurt. I'm predicting him to get hurt.

and I've never brought up the fact that eagles fans CHEER when the opposing player gets hurt, because I don't have to. It's a fact. When Michael Irvin got hurt at the Vet all the scumbag, drunk, mullet wearing, missing tooth having, mesh shirt wearing dirtbag eagles fans sobered up long enough to cheer for his injury. REAL CLASSY.

So, again, fuck you. If you want to keep a civil football discussion than so be it, if not, as I said, FUCK YOU.

Lol . . . All home teams. I live in one of those areas, lived in another. And born and raised in another. Either way, I was pretty much there for the creation of all three teams.

Ah yes . . . opening day. We get both Philly and Dallas in the first two weeks. This should be fun.

Bishop was good, but has since lost a step or two.

hey nature boy, stop ranting and raving for a bit... hey dude, stop stomping around the wrestling ring!!!

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

admit it, you have NO CHANCE IN HELL of winning the east as long as number 5 is behind center.... deal with it, accept it... and life wont be that bad come january when i'm watching eagle football still and you are building a snow man..

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I'll admit it. I don't think the redskins will win the NFC east. The odds are against them and the eagles are the better team. However, the NFL can be pretty crazy and injuries happen. A critical injury, to any team can knock a team out of contention. And guess which injury would hurt the most on the Eagles. McNabb. And if he gets hurt, which I think he will, maybe not at the hands of the redskins, but if he did get hurt the eagles would be about as good as the redskins. The Giants, Cowboys, and Cardinals aren't shit.

of course we are only speculating.

what makes you think he is gonna get hurt anyway? he doesnt take too many punishing hits... he is strong and agile and fast...

is it because of history? like in 92 when the eagles were going to win the superbowl but a fluke injury put randall out for the year.... IN WEEK ONE? is that it?

donovan doesnt miss plays, he is constantly doing conditioning drills in arizona... i dont get it, he has no history at all.. i understand saying warner will get hurt because in his 3 years he has had a few concussions and a thumb injury... i can see someone saying brunell will get hurt, or mcnair... but donovan?

Who is the team the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES DESTROYED in the divisional playoff round?

is that the question you were answering? or was it the next one:

Who made the playoffs last year but will not get all the breaks they got last year?

either way, you got the answer right.

ah, i'm glad you brought up 92 when randal got hurt. The reason why I say he's gonna get hurt is because he hasn't gotten hurt YET! If you look at the average NFL player, they get hurt at some point in their career. And when QB's get hurt they usually get hurt pretty bad. Maybe he won't get hurt, but if you play percentages he is due. If he's fine, and all their RB's stay healthy and they get a GOOD WR, which they still don't have, maybe they'll be in the Bowl. Even if McNabb stays healthy and plays great, I still don't see a high quality WR or TE on their roster and you can't beat the great teams like the Rams or niners or saints or .... you get the point. James Trash isn't the answer. Pinkston, maybe, but he hasn't done jack.

Just one guy's opinion.

Hey man--last season is history. I gotta hand it to ya--yall came over and beat our asses, but things will be different this year without Trotter---just wait man. Trotter is a hoss--I cant believe yall let him go.

The Chicago Bears will be in the playoffs again and prove to be one of the elite teams in the NFL.

if they can stay healthy the bears could challenge for home field advantage. if the RB's and WR's produce like they can they'll be hard to stop even with them having IMO a average QB. But that's fine, because not many teams can have great WR's, RB's and QB's. Marcus robinson and I forgot the other WR are studs, they can make a average QB look good.

I don't know what's up with the Defense, Ulraker or whatever is name is awesome, but I don't know who else they have.
