it was ultra hard for me to try to stick to the new diet i'm working on (bulking, big thanks to Mr.X for setting me up on it) considering that i'm the one that made all the pumpkin cookies and 2 pumpkin cheesecakes. it's so unbelievably hard to cook things like that and NOT try them out. i mean, come on, i gotta know if it turned out good...gotta know where i need to modify the recipie for the next time.....
i tried to justify the pumpkin cookies though (and i've only had a few since i made them wednesday night, no more for me now). they're loaded with with walnuts and i threw oats into them this time. so i tried to up the healthiness of them. really sucks that every batch starts off with 1/2 cu shortening and 1 cu sugar....and that's just for about 2 1/2 dz cookies. ugh! i'm gonna keep feeding these cookies to the kids. at least i made them healthier than last years, so maybe they'll pull some nutrition out of it.
