Who Hits The Gym Early Am?

I sleep walk for the first few hours after I role out of bed. I think the best time is in the afternoon.

Last time I was cutting, I started training in the morning for the sake of doing my exercise before I'd eaten anything. It was quite good once I'd gotten used to it.

I can't remember feeling wrecked for the rest of the day like someone above described. Rather, I feel much better all day.... and then it's done and out of the way and I'm not having to train around other commitments.

I do it around 6a.m. since I work erratic hours. I get to work at the same time each day but the amount of work determines when I leave. Just as shaft says: warm up and get yourself psyched!:supercool

Tomorrow is back day and I is going to get up at 6am to get down there for about 6.30

No-one around me does any kind of fitness, nevermind getting up at 6am to go lift weights, so they think I am totally nuts

But its like this, I am very serious about this and you either give it 100% commitment or you dont bother and I think doing it early AM in the long run is better.

I will know after tomorrow morning

Cheers guys

you will get used to it! your body does adapt to working out this early.
Take some eca to wake you up. I get all this shi prepared the night before, and I love gettingup when its still dark out and eveyone is still slepping.
I get up at 5 and wait like 45 min - 1 hour to leave, so Im awake.
good luck to ya.

i do my cardio in the morning.... weights in the evening... ideally i'd like to lift at around 2pm, but i don't think my work would take kindly to me doing deads and squats and all that in my office :D

cardio at around 6:30 am, weights at around 7-7:30 pm

I am at the gym every morning at 5:30 to lift. I do cardio at night. It is backwards, I know, but at 5:30 there isn't a soul in the place. At night the place is packed full of people who aren't really lifting, but just taking up space. The cardio section is rarely busy though.

i have to start working out at 6 am (which im not too happy about) but anyway, what do you guys eat before you lift? i was thinking of a protein shake with 50g of protein and maybe 20g of carbs, what do you early birds think? thanks for the help
by the way, im planning on getting up at 5:30
