Who here does not believe in the PWO shake?

It has been several months since i've had a traditional PWO shake of gatorade and whey protein. I personally have found an oats and whey combination to be more satifying and result producing. My somatatype characterizes me as somewhat of an endomorph, so maybe that has something to do with it.

if it works for you, it works for you bro. The important is that you try it on yourself (like you seem to be doing) and make your own conclusions.

Some people eat rice-cakes PWO

PWO Shake: Ok, first I just eat white sugar by the spoonsful until I feel my hands jitter (about 20 tbsp)..... then down my 32oz gatorade blended w/ chiquita 2 banana's... I sprinkle a little pinch of Isopure on top, but not too much, I don't want to overdo it!

Wisdom rises like a mist from the East.... :D

Rice cakes are tasty but there are a few beefs I have with them. I suspect they are high in sodium and not as cost effective as oats (tight budget here).

:) Wise words, indeed.

I use a DWOS (during workout shake) ... today it's got me feeling like a bloated cow :worried: ... forgot my beano, lol.
