Who else generally finds TEXANS to be ANNOYING?

the dallas area is cool... suburbs to Dallas have alot to offer as well. Although a bit lacking in cultural identity, I'd say...
Austin DOES have it's own culture for sure
But living there I considered awful... visiting is GREAT though

Houston, well it's hot , humid, crime, traffic. Guess i'm not a big fan of Houson but there is alot of stuff to do there as well..

never really considered myself having much in the way of state pride. it's a good place to live for now, but I seriously doubt I'll be here forever

i'm in dallas! i grew up waaaayyy out in the country, and there is no way i'd ever go back, i love living here, but i don't wave a flag though.

It has a lot to do with the inbreeding.

No, actually i'm a texan and I don't have much state pride except for the fact that San Antonio is nice city with decent weather.

I flew down there a few years ago for a few days and absolutely loved the city. The RiverWalk was especially great. The Alama was not what I expected, but it was still an awesome city. I wouldn't mind going back.

A friend of mine worked construction with a bunch of Texans and we went drinking with them sometimes. I had one guy tell me about ten times over a couple of months "You look like one of them Jee-ews like that there Seinfeld on the Tee-Vee." The others would take this up every couple of weeks and a drunken commentary on my ethnicity would ensue, complete with huddled whispering and questions such as "well what breed of white man are you then?"

When I asked if all this was totally necessary they said "You ain't from Texas and you have some strange notions is all."

I learned 2 things from those guys:

1) Never drunkenly try and explain the concept of reincarnation to 10 or so drunken Texan construction workers;

2) Kramer from Seinfeld wouldn't last 10 minutes in Texas before some concerned citizen shot him as a precautionary measure.

LMAO! That's funny as hell........

I have found Texan men to be confident and friendly. Texan women are women. There are a LOT of guys into the weights in Texas and there are a lot of hot babes.
