Whey vs Casein??

Hello guys! :)
Well i'm confused between what to take, Whey or Casein???
Right now i'm taking Muscletech Whey Protein Plus from last month and i have some results. But now one of my friends suggested me Casein.
Well i want lean muscles, shape and cutting. I have enough body fat already so don't want any mass builder/gainer. So my question is, should i continue use Whey protein or i can have good results with casein?
Any advantages of casein over whey or vice-versa? I studied somewhere that casein can help in fat loss. So i would really appreciate you guys' advice on what to take. Casein or Whey?

Whey is fast acting protein, casein is slow.

So whey after a workout and first thing in the morning and casein before bed.

I have read studies that suggested whey and casein post workout is superior to just whey, but most people seem to use whey.

When it comes to the question, "Whey or Casein?", the answer is always, "Yes!" Whey immediately after training and when you need a meal replacement on short order. Casein when you are going to be a longer time between meals, like just before bed. Using both help cover your bases for consistent gaining. I also believe in changing brands and formulas every couple of months so your system doesn't get used to the same stuff and not utilizing it fully.

What about Syntha-6 guys?? I read that it has both casein and whey included but digests slow. I'm really low on budget. I can't buy them both. So is syntha-6 is worth for money?

Whey protein is all you need. If you want a slow digesting protein eat meat man. Steak, chicken, tuna, eggs etc. The biggest benefit of whey is that it breaks down quick and is very bio-available. Good for around your workout time. Other than that just eat healthy, lots of protein and veggies from natural sources

Casein is crap IMO.
Go for a quality whey isolate and if you wanna slow down the absorption just add a tablespoon of all natural peanut butter.

No. Its expensive and doesnt last long. Its like $40-50 for 30 servings which if you take the reccomended 2 scoops its only 15. Ntbm's whey has 85 servings for a little over $50 and free shipping.

You can order it from needtobuildmuscle.com. No protein will give you dramatic size gains, but with a solid diet and a good protein like needto's you can gain some decent weight.
