When i train in the morning.......

so some days i train in the morning when the missus does or i kno i cant make it after work and when training i run outta energy, where as after work when im carbed up to the hilt all is good.. if i eat a meal right before bed high in carbs will that work in my favour when get up in the morning and train half hour later?????
 
how about a protein shake and a piece of fruit in the morning. im sure that will give you some energy. bananas are good for the mornings.
 
how long after you eat something is it used by your or till the energy from the food is availible??? i'm up at 5.20 and at gym at 6 when it opens.... setting alarm earlier to eat is not an option as need sleep with the active style of work i do
 
pre make a shake with
one scoop whey
one scoop waxymaize
i used to do this and it works great for getting energy in the morn
i get up at 5am now and dont eat b4 i hit the gym and have great workouts
as long as your diet is good throughout the day you should have enough
energy for morning training
i def advice against carbs right b4 bed
 
dam, i was hopin to maul bowls of ice cream in bed convincin myself it was for training purposes.... thanks guys
 
How about some protein before you go to bed
I'm talking about a full meal: eggs,tuna...etc
And 1/2 cup of oatmeal or apple, 1hr before work out
 
its hard to do the 1hr meal before training cos gettin up early do make lunch for the day i'm already pushed for time. i might make a shake the night before and drink it either as soon as i get up or if i get up to go toilet through night i'll have then
