I've been following Fred Hatfield's zig zag diet for almost a year and it has helped keep my bodyfat percentage around 9-10% year round.
 
im on atkins so this is how my days look now.

breakfast
12-16oz. steak(flank,sirloin,cubed) or cooked ham

snack:
1 atkin pre made shake

lunch
20 chicken wings

snack:
1 atkin pre made shake

dinner
12-16oz. steak or full rack of ribs
 
Calvin - Looks gust add in some Broccoli or green beans, some form of vegtables, your body needs them. Also, look into a multivitamin if you haven't already. Wal-Mart has Atkins Basic #3 which is what i take. Also, keep your potassium levels up, buy some supplements if you want. Potassium is cheap (like a $1.50). Potassium seems to be a big defeciency that a lot on Atkins get. Leg cramps at 5:00am are NOT fun.

Also, how do you like those shakes? I'm tempted to try them, but they're expensive as hell. Are they as good as the advantage bars? What kind of vitamins are in them?
 
i know, i need veggies! but i hate them! im trying to see maybe mushrooms in soy sauce with my steak...

the shakes the good as hell!!! but it has to be fridge cold. cant be put in ice cause it tastes bad and cant be warm cause again taste bad. fridge cold and they are great!!!! i personally hate the bars! im very very picky in what i eat. like it has to be plain(no sauces,onions,crap like that) or very basic foods. steak & chicken. for flavor i only use soy sauce,and maybe sometimes all seasoning. im a simple guy :D

i have changed my diet some(less meat) i think my caloires a bit high and my snacks are now peanuts inplace of the shakes(im more now im protein power then atkins) so my overall caloires are around 2500 caloires,200g protein,160g fat and 40g carbs but 16g are fiber so its only 24 active carbs.
 
Atkins diet.

Meal 1 - 3 eggs and 6 strips bacon or sausage

Meal 2 - Protein shake

Meal 3 - 2 chicken breasts w/ swiss cheese OR Tuna w/ mayo, spinach salad w/ olive oil and vinegar

Meal 3 - 2 Tbs natural peanut better

Meal 4 - Protein shake (post workout)

Meal 5 - Steak or ground sirloin or fresh grilled salmon/tuna steak, steamed broccoli

If I get hungry before bed I eat an Atkins bar, I like the peanut butter.

NOTE: When I lose all the bodyfat I want I will switch to leaner protein sources and up the carbs 10 - 20 gms.
 
too much protein?

did i eat too much protein today? Its 315pm, and my meals look like;

post-cardio w/o; protein shake in water w flax

m2; egg, 1/2 chicken breast, spinach 1 tsp avo

m3; flavoured canned tuna(100g)

m4; 1/2 chicken breast, 3eggs and small serve of spinach leaves 3 tsp avo

m5; flavoured canned tuna.

i was really hungery!
looks like way to much for me.
i am trying to stick to a 60%p,30%f,10%c diet...
 
Calvin - Stick those bars in the fridge. Man, they're pretty good cold, not crumbly at all. FORCE the veggies. Man, your gonna get all sorts of screwy deficency's. Your body needs them.

You'll eventually find things you like :D
