what to use for me bench?

i'm doin me bench in lil while and i was gonna use my log as my me exercise but i am goin to a gym and my log is at home. what should i do? (prepping for viking) clean and press, seated military what? any suggestions?
 
standing bar, or if you are like me and your knees hurt, maybe pin presses, partial or full rom. i may try partial pin press if i cant' do viking this week because my leg drive should get the bar over my head. also played with the thought of pin presses with band so it would get harder as it went higher much like when using leg drive and initial few inches is easy, then it gets very hard.

thought bout that, but dunno if that would help on viking bc of grip
 
i would use the bar personally. i would do standing push press, like i said i am trying to get my knees healed and push press/jerks seem to inflame them some. could take the log for some light assistance, never hurts to keep form on other events. maybe do it strict.
 
maybe not........... just keep doing a lot of your pressing with your arms closer. on the viking press, its all a tricep lockout after the leg drive.
