What to take to fasten muscle healing/deacrease muscle sorness between workout days

When I'm "on" my doesn't need as long rest between the wokrout days. I do not get as sore the day after a workout. Now when off, what is there to take to heal muscle faster. I know some say glutamine but is it really good for this? I take creatine right now and It seems to help some. Multivitamines, c-vitamine, alpha lipoic acid, minerals are also things I'm taking. I'm on a hit program and feel very very sore the day after a workout.
 
You're doing the right stuff. I like to take 2g vit. c a day(1g post w/o and one any other time), I like glutamine and creatine(I guess Glutamine isn't en vogue anymore on the boards, but, I like it) 5-10g of both post w/o and 10g Glutamine before bed. And the multi is good, too.
