money isn't an issue as far as detox goes. there are plenty of programs to help people get clean. they might not be the most pleasant places, but they can and do help many others....

Seriously, there's nothing anyone can do to break him of this. I've watched a friend go through this over the past year. He went from coke to freebasing and has lost his job, one of his cars, his house, has been arrested probably 6 times in the last 2 months, once for stealing 2 guns from his ex-gf's cop dad's house, and reportedly has been staying at the homeless shelter with his crackhead gf. He still thinks it's everyone else's problem and not his. He has no desire to stop.

Unfortunately, if she has no money and no insurance, rehab is probably going to be out of their league to afford.

You just have to wait and pray, sadly.

God helps those who help themselves. a person has to lose the desire to get high, in order to stop getting high. i know from experience, dude. it may take a tragedy, a health scare, jail time, detox, but the fact is you have to want to stop. no one, no matter how much caring or crying and pleading and intervening will change that.

I totally understand that, but, it comes back to the innocent bystanders here. My sister has 7, yes 7, kids ranging from 21 years old to 5 years old and 2 grandkids ages 3 and 5 months. The younger ones are the ones that I am most worried about. Sheesh...this is hard.

usually the free ones are because it is court ordered. Are there free private ones. I looked for one for a friends once in Ohio, and I could not find one unless the person was court ordered.
