Unfortunaltey I have a cuosin who's bad into painkillers ie oxycontin. He keeps telling everyone he's sober but whenever you see him or his girlfriend neither of them are in their right state of mind. their jaws are clenched and they're grinding their teeth and they can barely stay concious. I didn't know he was all doped out until after I had loaned him money. The sad part is his mom believes him over me and even cashed out a good chunk of her 401k to bail out his junkie girlfriend after she robbed his ass and got caught with his drugs and money. Her bond was around 10k.

God helps those who help themselves. a person has to lose the desire to get high, in order to stop getting high. i know from experience, dude. it may take a tragedy, a health scare, jail time, detox, but the fact is you have to want to stop. no one, no matter how much caring or crying and pleading and intervening will change that.
