what does C.C Sabathia stand for?

and rivera

thats hughes. he started just like rivera. a starter who couldnt go 5 strong innings. went to the bullpen. was a set up man and then a closer. hughes will be that good. just like rivera, he didnt find his out pitch till he became a set up man and hughes doesnt have it yet, but its coming.

lol at the yankees wearing out all their pitchers though...unlike the angels the phillies can actually hit...angels=great pitching+good fielding(cept in this series)+shit hitting. You cant beat the yankees only scoring 3 runs in a game not with their lineup...and guerrero wtf stop swinging at horrible pitches

i thought the yankees were gonna blast through the playoffs but the phillies seem to be really coming together like last years team and lidge appears to have gotten off his suck streak...I hope it will be a good world series. Ryan howard and A rod are both tearing it up

cargo pants will have to wait another year.

but it looks as if we have a dynasty in the works

you must be a philly fan and just watch your team only. the angels (883 runs scored) were the number 2 offensive unit in all of mlb behind the yankees (915 runs scored). the phillies scored 820. the yankees pitchers are letting up less than 2 runs a game. im sort of guessing they arent really getting worn out yet. also, the extra days rest built into the rotation since august may have been to keep them fresh for this time of year. im just guessing though.

i agree yankees >phillies

but you can't really make that comparison with the run production given the fact there's no DH in the NL. a 63 run difference with 400+ pitcher AB's isn't a huge margin.
