To see Hawaii for the first time. (and for those of you who have seen it, don't rub it in my face as being cheesy)

to hit 250 on the next cycle with 6 abs showing

Redo my bathroom (will do this work myself)

Make another condo investment

Go parasailing for the first time.. always wanted to do it, always have the time, just never do

Break 200K on the salary this year

See the Mardi Gras Parade for the first time

I've been around here and there -- mostly on the AS board and occasionally the Women's board.

I agree in spirit with what you are saying, it was my war cry for years -- and it's probably why I haven't found a "home" yet.

At the same time, I'm raising children and have a family, and would like to be able to pass on something more than vague ideals (talking spiritually here). I think there is value to the reoccuring gathering and solidarity between a particular group.

Paulos - what kind of cert are you looking into getting? Are you going to one of those weekend workshops and getting certified? They have those down here.


Supernav - what I am going to do is buy the condo, do some upgrades and then rent it out for two years before selling it to avoid capital gains. I have one condo I already do that with, but I don't plan on selling that anytime soon. I may end up using it to house my mother should she ever move here.

They have a fairly good pickup but can't corner for shit - I always had to slow the fuck down if I wanted to make any kind of turns at a fast speed or I would fishtail everywhere. The only reason I got it was my 2nd cousin works for ford, so I got a couple thou off the retail price. Now I'm thinking either a 4wd 3000gt, rx7 or supra. I'm have chosen the way of the rice.

I like changing things up, monotony is my personal kryptonite. I initially was going to buy a Camaro SS, that exact car - I like them a lot better than mustangs exept due to the 5k+ diff, my mind was changed, plus I wanted to try a convertible out. I don't like transam's though, not at all. So I'm switching from muscle cars to rice racers, which are generally better at handling and fuel economy + the ones mentioned (stock) will prob beat the americans off the line. Its not like I'm getting a civic or integra and throwing on a couple ferrari stickers and a muffler the size of a WWI cannon. After a good year or two, Ill try something new.
