Wait until marriage before having sex?

This post could draw some flames, but I would like to know your thoughts,

I am 51 divorced and straight.

This is a survey and not meant to be judgmental.

This questions is for both guys and chicks,

Have any of you ever thought that sex is something more than a physical activity and should only be between a married husband and wife?
And that you should wait until marriage to have sex?

Wait until marriage for sex

I guess in a perfect, biblical world that's the way it's supposed to happen. But we are human and have human passions. It's possible to remain "virgin" until marriage, I know a lady who is 43 and is still a "virgin", but she has done other things related to sex and she has never married. At what point does hugging and necking become sex? I see your point, I lost my virginity to the girl I married, but I still had sex before I was married.

My girlfriend is waiting until we're married and that's alright with me. I actually respect her for it. We still have oral sex, but no sex sex. I think it will really be something special when it finally does happen.

i think love making is a sacred thing between two people who truely LOVE each other ,if it means nothing dont do it

I think this is a pretty cool quote, it appliews to the situation too

each of us has to find out for himself what is permitted and what is forbidden - forbidden for him. It is possible for one never to transgress a single law and still be a bastard. And vice versa. Actually it's only a question of convenience. Those who are too lazy and comfortable to think for themselves and be their own judges obey the laws. Others sense their own laws within them; things are forbidden to them that every honorable man will do any day in the year and other things are allowed to them that are generally despised.

Personally, i think sex should be between only loving couples... slip ups will be slip ups but i don't see the point in waiting until your married. Love is love and there is nothing wrong with making love. Just try to keep the slip ups few in number.

I dont believe in waiting....You have to be compatible in all areas of your life and sex being a VERY important part of marriage....

my current husband was married before me - he waited till after he was married to have sex with his bride, she was a virgin....he explains it as the worst experience ever...Im not going into all the details, but after listening to his story - Im against waiting...
