Using creatine at 5 g per day

What do you guys think about doing creatine at 5 g per day? My goals are to build more muscle and strength. I'm currently 22 years old and 158 lb. I would like to put on some more size on my frame from weight training.

Longstanding evidence shows 5g of creatine is an effective dose, in recent years there are more comprehensive studies with 10g,15g,20g daily consumption. Like anything there is the point of diminishing returns, but I find 10-15g to be the sweet spot for muscle fullness and cognitive function. Like everyone else said, take 5g a day to start and after a couple months you can start taking 10g to see if you notice any difference (benefits become more cognitive than muscle/recovery). Don’t load the creatine either, no point just make sure you stay hydrated. Began creatine at 17 and have taken it every day since, I’ve had my parents and siblings taking it also for the last couple of years. As @Ulter said it’s a supplement (one of the safest and most studied) not a steroid so no reason not to take it

Bros, you can't just take creatine and expect the world. You have to have a solid diet and train the right way as well. That's all together the way it works best.
