If you felt the flushing in the face, it sounds like it was working. It doesn't affect how long you last, and at least for me, when I'm done, I get soft. And as others said, food and alcohol can cancel the effect of the Viagra. What it does do, is make it so you don't get limp in the middle of banging (due to being distracted, or because you're on the juice, etc), and if you have to stop for a minute in the middle, you stay hard then.
