It feels like I have been relying on protein shakes way to heavily lately, my ? is when do think that it is becoming too much. Its usually 2 shakes a day but lately its been 3- 55g of protein shakes.
I think 3 is the going standard. I try to eat plenty of real food also, chicken breast, steak, ground sirloin, fish, veggies, rice.
The shakes are just a supplement and help me when sitting down and eating is not an option, like a 15 minute break.
Have you tried those Isopure Liquid Protein Drinks? It's like a regular fruit juice drink with 40 grams of protein. The drawback is that it's a bit expensive but it's great to have around if you need some quick protein in your body.
