The girl I am seeing is 44, I am 32. I do not think about the age difference most of the time...but I begin to think when I am 40 she will be 54 and when I am 50 she will be 64. That starts to freak me out. I am very fit and very mobile, can she keep up????????

I worry about her dying and that I will be lonely. Not sure, this is the first for me and it is awesome but very confusing as well.

I must say..it is the best sex I have had in my fucking life!!!!

Depends on your perspective on life in general of course. Are you in really good shape and think you will be into your 40's and 50's? What about her? If you are, then you will be able to pull younger chicks because of that. Do you really want someone who is 60 when you are 47, when you could get 37 or 35, etc? If it were me I would cut my losses, because the longer you wait the harder it is.

So the way I look at it is that we all change our percpective a little in life every few years, so why look so far into the future because the future is so unknown.....shit I could die by the time I hit 50...who knows. I try to live my life lately in the present and not so much the future because I've learned that you cant plan shit....most of the times shit interupts your plans.

If she is in good shape and competing at 43, I think you can pretty much be assured that she has the whole drive/vanity thing to look as good as she possibly can for her entire life.


I know it is important to be attracted to your partner, but that is only a part of the equation.

If she has the other things you want, then I say go for it.

I agree with you....i was first attracted to her physically, but then got to know her and was blown away. I dont know if its because of her age that she is much wiser than women i dated in the past or just who she is.....

in that case just follow what you feel is best for you and dont do the whole "cold and calculating" thing i usually do lol

lolol.....trust me i do the same calculating thing as well......but for now its too good to leave her because of her age.....its the only thing that i worry about a little.

As I mentioned in this thread, my last boyfriend younger than me, and it bothered me a little at times as well.

A funny thing happened, couples with the woman being older than the man started to come out of the woodwork.

It isn't as common as older man, younger woman, but there are a lot of couples with this age difference.

Ten years is nothing. I bet no one will even think that you look different ages.


I must admit, now that I have dated a younger man, I am a bit biased.

Then again, there are 20 year old who are already in smoking jackets with a pipe and slippers at the fire, and 50 year old who are out raving.

I do think people are redefining aging right now, people used to LOOK old at 40, now some 40 year olds look better than 20 year olds.

Self evaluating things as it is today I must say that if needto were younger than me, we just would not be together. I have security issues, maybe I am a typical girl, who knows. But I like my man to be older than me, to be stronger emotionally and physically, and to be able to endure more.I guess I like my man to be able to hold me up when I need to be held up, make me feel safe, make me feel secure. My trust would be lacking in a skinny, younger man, as I would feel that he would not be mature enough and not have enough knowledge, and not be strong enough.
