To Tattoo or not??????

O.K. This is the situation............

I have been putting off getting two tats that I have put alot of thought into.
I wasn't just going to put anything on my body, so I thought of a way to incorporate my kids into it.

The question I have is mostly for the ladies.

Since alot of guys have tattoos now and it seems to be the "thing" to do, will it be "sexier" to have a non tattooed body?

Just an opinion on your part.

Honestly I dont like tattoos. If you do get one make it an original one, that accentuates a sexy shape

One or two tattoes are cool but dont get them all over your body....or remember what Ozzy looks like now with all his tattoos...Im planning on getting one on the lower part of my back, i hope for my birthday, but i have no idea what kind to get...but Im looking foreward to it

The idea is that it's supposed to be a personal thing.

If I may suggest...don't just be one of those people that walk right into a parlor, pick some flash off of the wall and then say "I want this" just for the sake of having a tattoo.

The one that I have was thought out for months. Believe it or not, I designed my own based on kind of what you are looking for...my two daughters and a kenji character.

A good artist can take your idea or design and transfer it to a tattoo that actually has real meaning for you.

...and here's the key to an experience that you will be satisfied with...

SHOP AROUND!

Don't be afraid to shop several parlors and ask tons of questions.
Remember that this is something that will be with you even after your dead so don't be shy about asking an artist to show you his or her portfolio.
Only an artist you'd want to deal with will have one that shows off his/her best work that AIN'T the flash on the wall. ...and trust me, only the good ones will be more than willing and damn proud to show you. You'll also look like a serious buyer of their best work and they always happy to please a serious, thoughtful first time customer. Sure, you'll pay a little more for a true artist's time and talent but it's your body.

Think about things like where it shows and if it would be acceptable at work and stuff like that, too.

Of course i woudlnt go and do something so stupid as getting a tattoo of some guys name on my leg or anywhere else...the tattoo would be for me.
