Hay guys, first off I just wanted to say I love my girlfriend very much and we are so great together emotionally and physically compatible. We believe in the same morals, ethics, and we are totally in harmony with each other. However, the only thing thats been lacking for the last several months or even more is her SEX DRIVE and my sex life. She is only 21 and has no desire to have sex or if she does she is doing it because she wants to make me happy and she is not really getting in to it.. Of course that means lack of oral sex to. She said that yohimburn could of took part in destroying her sex drive and now she is on Zoloft which also i think could take part in it to.. She is not willing to take any drugs without the approval of any doctor because she is very health/safe cautious so there goes that option. I have brought this up to her so many times and all she says is she needs time for the drug to kick in and for her to settle with things...
Basically my question to you guys is what would you do in this situation or what have you done if this problem occured with you and your loved one. The paradox is though I truly love her so much and I would never ever cheat on her and the thought has not even or ever will cross my mind. there must be something SHE CAN DO!!!! please give me advice!!!!!
 
damn bro my biggest fear is gettin really close to a girl and then her not wanting to have sex anymore. Try some new shit bro. Girls like sex differently than guys. Check out the in between the sheets section of elite. ask the question therer and you'll get some good responses from the elite women.
 
anti depressants are notorious for killing sex drive. is she on birth control? what kind? Several of them can mess up womans sex drive as well.

my girl got a non hormonal iud, and shes horny all the time and gushes like a river
 
Bro without a doubt it is the zoloft. I had the same situation. Before the Zoloft we were fucking like rabbits, she started taking that shit and had 0 sex drive. It was like she just wanted to lie there. it sucked big time. i felt like i was raping her. She has recently come off the shit and it is slowly returning. good luck man.
 
Every relationship will have its ups and downs when it comes to sex. The loss of her libido is more than likely due to the zoloft. Tell her to talk to her doc about wellbutrin. That shit does wonders for libido.
 
If she is on zoloft there is a reason and she needs to address those problems before her whole life will come together.
 
Zyg hit that on the nail.... I've never seen an anti-depressant cure someone's problems. Sure, there are people with chemical imbalances.. but most people take these things because of events or problems in their own life... taking a drug is never a magic potion....

If her sex drive is lost due to a drug she is taking, I'm not sure there is much you can do for it...

In MY life, outside of drugs, I've learned that if sex sucks, it is on BOTH parties shoulders to do something to make it better... but I think in your case it is the Drug she is on...

It's probably the Zoloft.

With that said, have her try a different SSRI- like Paxil, prozac, wellbutrin, celexa, or any of a half-dozen others. Side effects vary.

Anavar 2.5-5mg per day (oxandrolone) or Winstrol work wonders and I've prescribed it with good success.
 
I have been with my girlfriend on and off for the last 5+ years. I love her very much, but very seldomly want to have sex with her. For the first year or so we had sex everyday. I was on Paxil for 6 years, quit about 3-4 months ago, and I swear thats what ate up my sex drive. It seems like the only way I get turned on anymore is the thought of sex with another woman. I don't know if I'm tired of her, the Paxil did it, or both. Either way it sux. The times we have broken up, I meet new women, have sex a few times and then bam, same shit. I'm fucked. Thinkin of tryin Viagra.

Anyway, the guy is a doctor, i am sure he is more curious about what he is taking and why then most people. He is in the medical profession, and most people get into that because they are interested in such topics, more so than most people.

BabyDoc, being an OBGYN do you deal with only women. Meaning could you treat men, for problems. Ah fuck it, i'll talk to you later.Through email or some shit like that.
 
I will take care of medical problems for my friends, even the occasional prescription. For example, I just diagnosed a good friend of mine with Valley Fever after 3 other internal medicine docs completely missed the diagnosis (a very tough diagnosis). Happy to say what was knocking him down for more than 4 weeks now is already improving with the right Rx.

And yes, I was just curious so I PM'd him.

I believe they are able to. And it better not be looked down upon. It is one of the top reasons i am going into medicine. :)
 
Normal stuff like ntibiotics, etc... yes. Narcotics, AAS- better be careful.

Funny story...

I was in Austin on a business trip when I got slammed by a recurrent kidney stone. I cannot begin to describe the pain and I had to get on a plane on top of that. I went into a pharmacy sweating bullets and writhing in pain, asked for the pharmacist, and proceeded to write myself a prescription for Vicodin. He looked at me cross-eyed, like "WTF are you thinking?"

To which I said, "I've got a fucking kidney stone and I'm getting on a plane in 30 minutes you fuckety fuck fuck piss ant. Get me the fucking Vicodin NOW!!!!!!!" He got it, I took it in front of him, and proceeded to puke it up 15 minutes later in the airport bathroom.

My mother-in-law used to work for a doc (she's an RN) that perscribed himself GH and test. At the time, I was working full time and going to school, and always tired. In her usual drunken stupor, she said he'd get me a script for test if I wanted it. Some things you just don't want to talk to your mother-in-law about.
 
what about those 'free samples' drug companies send you guys? would anyone know if those went missing? one of my parents neighbor is a doctor, and he gets kick backs from drug companies. they send him amazon.com gift certificates, dinners at expensive places, and all this other shit. you guys have the hook-up. :)
 
Yes, we occasionaly get free samples. As an Ob/Gyn, I don't get many, except for birth control, some antidepressants and Viagra (rarely). I once had a case of Viagra samples, like 100 pills. Back then my brother lived here. Well, I gave a few away, and the rest gradually disappeared. I never even got to try one.

Now the IM docs, they get all the good stuff, antibiotics, antacids, non-steroidals, cough syrup....

Last time I wrote myself 2 scripts for Augmentin and Claritin D (sinus infection) it cost me $50 from my deductible:mad:
 
Easy fix. the zoloft will often shut down sexual desire (in men and women). the libido-killing effect of serotonin reuptake inhibitors (like prozac,paxil,zoloft) is well documented. a pschologist once described that not only is desire gone, sex almost becomes an incomprehensible act (why would anybody want to do that?). also, SRI's make it difficult if not impossible to acheive orgasm (so the thought also becomes, why bother)

a switch to welbutrin or serazone (or adding these) often revives libido if I recall. these are anti-depressants that work via different mechanisms.


p.s. i'm not an MD so talk to your doc obviously. but if he doesn't agree, change docs.

does anavar increase libido in men?
 
So what would you suggest for me to get my libido back(see above). It's back now, but just because I'm pumpin 750 mg of test a week. I guess I'll go to the doc after cycle and see what he suggests. Any ideas?
