TITAN Training...update...WAHOO..I LOVE this SH@#!

Whatsup tronious haha its all good bro dont worry about it... HIT stands for High Intensity Training... its a system of training that supports low volume work. Like maybe 1-3 sets per bodypart. Instead of doing 3-4 sets of a couple of exercises they support the idea of doing one set to failure... doesnt work for me!

Defintely bro itll help you get out of a rut and really kickstart your training all the way... the gains are INCREDIBLE from what I understand...

:D:D

I am on my 2nd week now Ill letcha know how I do with it bro. Check out my Training Journal.

leanMachine...I've been doing this workout for about 6 1/2-7 weeks now. I've never done a workout this intense. You have to be disciplined as hell if you're going to do it. You have to stick to the rest times and only lift on the days you're supposed to. Gotta get plenty of sleep (although that shouldn't be a problem), drink a lot of water and obviously get a ton of protein. Also, just my opininon, I think a good multi-vitamin would be great. I think it's a great workout for someone who's been off for a while. However, I don't know that I would jump right into it. I'd maybe go 1 week of doing 8-12 reps per exercise...then a second week of 4-6 reps just to prepare your body because it's a seriously intense workout. Just my 2 cents though as I don't claim to be some knowit-all when it comes to training. Just speakin' from real-world experience. Later.

When tronious says you must be self-disciplined he isn't kidding, there are times during this workout that you will want to quit because you are so damn tired or your muscles have just given out.

I would recommend a few weeks of less intense gym work before you jump into Titan Training.

One other thing I notice, and I may be wrong, but it seems like Titan Training aims more at getting the overweight person ripped (hence the ketosis diet it suggests) than the thin person bulked. Either way, however, you WILL be sore after these workouts. I've been using HIT principles for the last 6 months, and when I jumped into Titan Training I could hardly walk the first couple of days.

LeviathanX

AGREED bro.

These workouts are so physically exausting a lot of times your right you do just want to quit. You just keep thinking you know what I am gonna fuck this bullshit go back to normal training and eat a lot of carbs. Haha sticking to a 0-carb diet and working out with workouts this intense is really seriously crazy I mean its tough shit bro. You gotta have a lot of discipline and alot of guts to hang in there. I took 2 binge days and really replenished my glycogen and even now after being back into the low-carbs again I am fucking beat. I always get 7+ hours of sleep per night and honestly thats not enough sometimes.. I am about to bump it up to 8+ or 9+. Good luck bro if you try it as me, or tronious, or LeviathanX, if you have any Qs.

:D:D

Levanthian...that makes a lot of sense actually. About the program being geared for guys who are already bigger. I might change my diet a little. I'm about 5-6% body fat so I'm not worried about cutting up. Uppin' my carb intake might help me out some more and I think I can avoid putting on too much xtra fat with my body type. Good point.

In so far as soreness goes...me personally...I'm never sore after the Volume/Base training workouts for days one and two. A little tight the next day maybe. But never sore. HOWEVER...and that's a BIG however...after the muscle rounds!?!?!? hold Shnikey's Batman. I'm sore as fuck. Today...my legs aren't too too bad. They're sore...but not that sore. My chest however. Oh my GOD. When I stretch or something while I'm sittin' at my desk...my chest just yells at me and tells me to not do that again...haha. :D But...I LOVE IT. I fucking LOVE IT. My chest is finally makin' my shirts bulge. Ectomorphs traditionally have a flatter chest from what I understand so it's tough to get a big chest 'cause we're so long and lanky. But with some balls to wall hard work...and in my case anyways with this program...I'm finally gettin' it. 'Bout friggin' time!

Oh yeah...and when you're doing the muscle rounds...and you feel like quittin'...or cuttin' it one set short. Do what I do. I carry around a picture of a hot ass chick and a picture of Vin Diesel (just because that's the build I want). Look at those two...and I'm motivated right away!

Vin Diesel :D . I gotta put on some serious mass to match up to that dude, but I have his definition. A lot of people say I'm a prime candidate for juicing. That annoys me, because I swore to myself that I would never take gear, and I plan to stick to that promise.

Ah well... a few more years of training, bucket loads of food, and good ol' sleep should do the trick.

Hey tronious & MonStar, what percentage of your 1RM are you doing on muscle rounds?
