TITAN TRAINING / SERIOUS GROWTH... too much of a workload?

To those of you who are familiar with Leo Costa Jr.'s two popular training systems, Titan Training and Serious Growth, what do you all think about the workload? Serious Growth is 6 DAYS per week which almost everyone would categorize as overtraining. Titan Training only calls for 4 DAYS per week but theyre is a lot of volume in those muscle rounds.

They both suggest going to failure on all of the exercises and really seem like they would be working to their potential unless you were jacked up on anabolics. What do you guys think about both of these program for a natural?

Yeah I dont know I am thinking about trying Titan Training with a lowered workload maybe, and see how that works. Serious Growth is just a CRAZY amount of work for each week.

Why do any form of titan training?

Cackerot posts the same routine anytime some asks for one. It works, so do it.

Cackerot does what I lost you man sorry bout that. You said he posts the same routine anytime someone asks for one? He posts what routine? The Titan Training routine?

And it sucks too... too much reliance on bio-mechanically unsound isolation movements. I'd stick with the Titan Traning system. It is a great system , if you can meet its requirements. There is a difference between optimum and practical training. If you can't meet its requirements for whatever reason then it may be better to reduce the workload and do a HIT routine. HIT isn't designed to make anyone a champion but it is solid for those pressed for time who want to develop a solid physique.

LoL Dorian didn't even train Heavy Duty style for 1 and 2 name me 50 sucessful powerlifting or bodybuilding CHAMPIONS who have used HIT. You won't find even 15... I can name 50 powerlifters and olympic lifters who have used a higher volume approach.. and before you whine about drug usage... look no further than Dorian Yates for an example. The bottom line is that Heavy Duty & HIT contradict recent findings in exercise science. HIT is indeed good for "Everyman" but not for those wanting to become champions.

What world champions can anyone name that use HIT exclusively? Virtually none. Sports teams do not count btw. HIT is great for coaches of certain pro sports teams because HIT is safe, moderately effective and quick. It gives them "the most bang for their buck" so they can return to their primary objective of becoming better at the sport they play. It will not create champions in the field of strength athletics, nor will it actualize all of your potential for building size & strength. It is perhaps one of the best ways to train FOR THOSE ON A LIMITED TIME SCHEDUALE but not for those who are looking to reach the upper limits of their genetic potential for both size & strength. I'm not being hostile, this is just the truth.
