Try a pickle next time you want a chip. I don't even like potatoes but once and while I crave chips this week actually so I had 2 pickles.

Great idea!! I was craving every bit of food mentioned until I came to pickles and now that sounds good! I will have I get some and use them as a go-to.

So I've heard different things...is peanut butter something I should eat or stay away from? Obviously not huge amounts but having 1 serving per day with my apples.
 
Chips! That's it. I have a really restricted diet (No red meats, no processed foods and no gluten) and since I changed my diet, I never crave crappy foods cept for the chips. Which I eat so little of.

What does a typical day of your diet look like Blue?
 
If I were to get home and find that my husband had made me a spagetti dinner with meat sauce, caesar salad and garlic bread I probably couldn't say no - no matter where I was in training.
I have learned the hard way that sugary stuff just has too many side effects for me- I feel really really ill after eating cookies or desserts- like passing out, feeling like barfing, and being moody. I think I'm really sensitive to sugar or something. My doctor assures me that my blood tests are all OK but I think I might have a problem like being pre diabetic or something. It feels so wrong.
But a big carby fatty dinner like pasta- omfg.

- in the middle of getting certified to be a PT. I'm doing the YMCA one. Not sure whether I'll get an additional one, itr eally doesn't matter too much as long as it's not one that is solely profit-based like CanFit Pro- lol
Going to a Heartwise workshop at the end of the month to get certified to train cardiac rehab patients too.
Doing some of the legwork to test the waters on opening up my own gym too.
 
What does a typical day of your diet look like Blue?

breakfast - nuts, coconut milk, 3 boiled eggs and gluten free home made muffins
Snack: bean salad with tons of veggies
lunch: pc of chicken with sweet pot
snack; apples and almond butter, nuts, seeds, goji berries
supper: maybe another pc of chicken and more bean salad, spaghetti squash
snack; protein drink (sometimes) olives and gluten free crackers, sometimes soup

I try to avoid all processed, but some gets in there, My diet is mainly real foods.

A little, but not really! It's so subtle.
They have some great brands if you're in the US, here in Canada, we have one brand.
Try the one with vanilla to start. I drink the unsweetened one which I got used to.
 
QT: I love pickles but never buy them. I used olives to kill my salt cravings. I'm an olive addict! Good tip though, I am going to buy some

same here. Always with the chips. Not potato but corn. I always make sure I keep only organic chips in the house though.
