No, the child was not me....

In the end it will all be ok though, because the child has a mother who would suffer ANY public/private humilitiation - WHATEVER to try and help her see that not everything is as it is presented... and that no amount of hurt or ugliness of the external world that was brought upon her could EVER "dirty" the true beauty of her soul....

We can not protect our children from all the evil, pain, and ugliness of the world. But we can do our damnedest to help them sort it out and rise above it. If I can do this with my girls, then I will have accomplished much.
