Defeats the purpose of the program
9 sets of deads in a week is too much imo

old school....what?

as in 1995 muscle mag.

that term gets thrown around.....but i have never seen a true "old school" training program.

none of them are true old school routines.
they are exactly the same as any routine out of a magazine.
I know the posts you are refering too cornholio...i would hardly call them oldschool

old school routines did not do any bench work if any at all, they focused primarily on overhead presses, they did continentals, clean and jerks, two dumbell clean and presses, snatches, one arm deadlifts, one arm snatch and clean, and they focused more on lifting awkward objects such as barrels etc for more functional strength. Oh yea and they focused a lot on grip. For example an old school person would not do incline db curls, nor reverse lat pulldowns , nor shrugs nor skull crushers. Old school lifters would have a lot more olympic lifts in there instead.
