STOP taking PROTEIN shakes?

Girlwonder

New member
I have been taking protein shakes for like seven months now and I have reached my ideal weight...BUT what can I do to keep my weight like that WITHOUT the use of any more supplements because I'm a college student and I'm on a very tight budget right now..:bawling: ...I can't waste ANYMORE money on supplements!:(
Is it really necessary to keep taking protein shakes to keep my ideal weight???:(

Protein powders are actually cheaper than eating real meals most the time.

Yes you should still be using supplements (protein Powders and such) so that you can maintain what you got right now. Protein is cheap as hell man, each protein shake is usually less than 1 dollar-now thats a cheap meal!!!

Tuna out of the can! The poor mans protein supplement! Doesnt exactly taste like strawberry delight though...another very cheap protein booster, those cartons of egg substitute...99% egg whites, pretty much pure protein...you can do tons of stuff with that!

Protein powders are supplements. The are a usefull ool, but you do not NEED them. Learn how to eat real food the right way and you'll be fine.

You could do it if you are really dedicated and take more time to prep foods in advance (for on the go). However, it is a pain in the ass to do it without protein powder. I did it for two years.

Well I'd say it's a toss up. For about 40 bucks you can get 10 lbs. of Optimum whey. Or about 60 cents for a 6 oz. can of chunk light tuna.

naw if you shop around you can find tuna for 3/100 sometimes....im a hypocrite though, i get protein powder cheap as hell through hookups...i get it by the 5 gallon bucket
