When your're done the keto diet, what are some helpful ideas to not gain back the fat you lost? I know when i bult again, i'm going to gain some fat. But the keto diet is such a shock to the system, how do i not rebound? Also, can you buy the ketos strips in Canada?

From what i've researched, Keto diets are the only diet out there that have a high success rate in keeping weight off.

The first thing we have to accept is that it was an insulin repsonse due to the intake of to many Carbs that made us overweight in the first place. Therefore, we have to except that we can never really return to an old way of eating (not saying you can't cheat). Adjusting your diet to reflect a "low carb" lifestyle is a neccessity (40-100gms of carbs/day) Those amounts, of course, are if you aren't training.

If you're just using a keto diet to lose a bit of fat then you have to be very controlled if you return to a "normal" diet because most of the time you will gain back the fat you've lost and then some......

There are 2 types of keto diets (in essence)

One is Atkin's style and you cannot realistically ever come off of this diet without gaining consderable fat

The other is a CKD style which will help you maintain muscle if you're dieting for a show or something. but long term it still has a sting in it's tail (you will gain fat if you come off of the diet).

It ultimaltely comes down to whether you goals are short-term or long term and whether they are bodybuilding or fat loss.

CDK sounds like the way you might want to go. My goal is 183, after i reach it, i'm going to start putting on some muscle (but not really "body build" so i'm planning on taking up a CDK style diet then.

I want to put on as much mass as possible, while adding only a little fat. By the end of my last cycle, i had put on conciderable weight, but a great deal of it was fat. I have a medium metabolism, so i know my limits.
