Iv decided I want to shoot for something serious and body building was it. I'm posting here for any kind of advice, or for warnings, anything I should watch out for? Expect? Or anything.
How do I go about this? Start at small time comps? Any advice, or recommendations would be appreciated!

I've never competed yet, but I'm seriously considering giving it a try next year if I'm happy with how I would look on stage at that point.

One thing is for certain...getting to the level to be able to compete is one thing, and actually doing everything leading up to it is another. You have to literally devote everything in your life to it, which is the only reason its still in the air for me. It can take a toll on your family and others and not just yourself. Getting to a dehydrated 3-4% bodyfat on stage is no joke, and the grueling weeks and dieting leading up to it.

Its a huge commitment for a couple minutes on stage, but well worth it for many. It all comes down to you, and what you are willing to do for what you want ;)

Well im happy to hear your advice!
And honestly i spend more of my life in the kitchen and gym already.. Only thing truly holding me back is my 10month old daughter and my girlfriend. Other then That I'm golden! I have the heart, and the will power to do what it takes to be the best! and I may have the genetics to be on my side!
I just know for sure I don't want to be no broke, dead beat father, and boyfriend/husband.
