Should children be given sex education in schools, or should this be the responsibility of the parents? How should it be taught?

Re: Should children be given sex education in schools, or should this be the responsi

As a leader over a group of teens. I had all the parents come in and taught them how to talk to their kids about sex. Truth is most kids know already, and parents need to be more involved with their kids on this subject.

how does ditch digging correlate with sex education?

a) It was from Caddyshack.

b) Kids born to poor, uneducated people will most likely be poor and uneducated. More likely than someone with a degree to take a job like that.

I knew the source of the quote but I didn't get its relevance in this context of sex ed, now I realize it was just in the context of my reply, makes more sense and is more humorous.

Kids are having sex. It has nothing to do with socioeconomic ladder. they just are. Everywhere.

statistics show that poor kids have sex and children more than middle class and upper class. Perhaps the middle class are just getting more abortions.

statistics show that the less money you make the more sex you have

Dont you think open discussion of sexual practice and relationships among younger teenagers encourages sexual activity before they are ready, by adding to peer pressure, and devalues its own message because of the risk of classroom ridicule. It is better to discuss sexual responsibility in a one-to-one context, either with older siblings or parents, or perhaps via Internet youth portals.

do you think having a free daycare in a highschool is a good thing?? or a bad thing??

I think sterilization for teens is a good thing.. yep.. til age 25..
