There's a good diet for those people who want to lose fat quickly in a couple of weeks. You do lose a hell of a lot of fat. Unfortunately you do also lose a little muscle in the process!
Not for everyone. But if you are carrying a few pounds and want to slim up quickly, then you might want to give it a try. Its called the cabbage soup diet.
It relies on eating a lot, but taking in very few calories. Just worth making a note of if you like to eat and want to shed some pounds quickly.
The Cabbage Soup Recipe
6 large green onions
2 green peppers
2 cans of tomatoes (chopped or whole)
3 carrots
1 container of mushrooms (say about 10 oz)
1 bunch of celery
Half a head of cabbage
1 or two stock cubes (chicken or beef)
Seasonings - curry powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper or parsley (whatever you like to taste)
This diet contains virtually no fat or calories at all and is a good way of quickly sheding a bit of blubber so that you can see those muscles as they grow.
One thing that you should note is that this diet should only be undertaken for a week or so and preferably with some kind of vitamin, mineral and protein supplements. You may become light-headed at times whilst on this diet.
