Everyone talks about shakes and I was wondering if all of you make your own shakes or is there a good shake to buy in the store? I don't know anything about body building... just about lifting weights haha so I'm kinda new to this stuff. Thanks.
well most of the pre made stuff's pretty much similar in terms of protein and profile.
Something to try to remember is:
1. Whey Protein is best used after workouts (and combined with dextrose//maltodextrin)
2. A slow absorbing blend of protein (casein + whey) at other times apart from post workout
3. Apart from post workout whey, try to get your protein from whole food sources where possible unless convenience/time is a factor then you can go for an MRP/Shake
