Steel posted about how training gradually transforms your body for the better over on the women's board.
I'm finding that training is also changing the way my body works for the better. Had a karate grading yesterday (no big deal, minor grade) and I was surprised how much stronger and faster my movement is getting when I really go for it due to all the lifting.
It has really made a huge difference. Also, since I started serious training, oh, almost a year ago now, I am no longer tired all the time, although I sleep less and work out for longer....
it'll be a long time before I have a physique and strength like spatts or steel or any of the other dedicated ladies on here, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually.
supraspinatus is now healed, BTW.
