I don't know why you're so angry about it - it's pretty much standard in the industry that once you link a business site you need to pay for advertising or at least become a paying member. Am I missing something?

Swole didn't necessarily "link" his business to this site. He knows probably the most about diets on this board, and he gives advice to people all the time, more than willing to help people out. Big fucking deal, I talk about his programs and so do other people. I refer them to Swole when they ask me and I am more than happy to say how much it helped me.

He doesn't go around advertising either, only maybe a link in his sig, and that's it. It's all word of mouth, so you all need to realize that nothing he did was wrong. He doesn't need to pay shit because he contributes more to this board than most do. I mean we talk about Optimum Nutrition, does that mean we advertise for them too???

It is perfectly acceptable for us to talk about Optimum Nutrition. It's a different story, however, for reps of ON to get on Elite and link their products without paying advertising fees. It costs money to run this board as well as any board. Most boards have a policy against nonpaying businesses linking their products or services. If they did not then everyone would start doing the same.

Yeh i gotcha, i understand where you are coming from and where elite has some right to do this. I guess I would feel the same if I were the board owner too.

But you are missing the point it wasn't just his links. He was slandering Elite and the mods here on other boards. Swole has a bad attitude.

I don't know how he is advertising his business either..... if you look @ the link he posted it is to Anabolic Review to a thread about him making muscle mag started by another member. But whatever..... this board is nothing but controversy and immaturity anyway. Feel free to ban my account as well if you want....I really don't care.
